Striped Bass Anglers Have a Big Week

Share

Big striped bass were the best bets for Southland anglers at several reservoirs this week, especially at Lake Silverwood and Pyramid Lake.

Ernie Gonzalez of La Crescenta caught a 29-pound 8-ounce striper at Pyramid and Greg Silks of Ontario landed a 30-pounder at Silverwood.

Corvina fishing continued brisk at the Salton Sea from Red Hill to North and Desert shores, and tilapia were hitting consistently throughout the Sea.
