A month after Ivan Von Staich, the convicted murderer of his former wife’s husband, escaped from the Orange County Jail, he was found and arrested in Springfield, Mass.
But it took two months more to send him home. Staich has insisted that both inmates and guards are plotting to murder him, but last week during an extradition hearing in Springfield a judge ordered him sent back to California.
Within 24 hours, Staich was back in the Orange County Jail, where he is awaiting sentencing for the 1983 murder.
