Thompson Usiyan’s third goal of the game in overtime gave the Minnesota Strikers a 5-4 victory and a 2-1 series lead over the Cleveland Force Friday night in the best-of-five MISL semifinal playoff round.

Usiyan took a cross-court pass from Gary Etherington and broke down the right side, firing a 25-foot shot into the lower right-hand corner. It was the Strikers’ ninth straight home playoff victory.
