Police Find Cocaine: When Montebello police officers and Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies arrested four men Monday at South Coast Plaza on drug charges, they confiscated a kilo of high grade cocaine, a police spokesman said Tuesday. Arrested were William Gonzalez, 35, Upland; John Garcia, 32, Whittier; Florencio De La Vega, 38, Monterey Park, and Luis Javier Arias, 34, Santa Ana. The four men were arrested on charges of conspiracy to distribute cocaine, said Montebello Desk Officer Mike Hinson. The men are being held in Costa Mesa Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail, Hinson said Tuesday.
