San Ysidro Teen Killed in Motorcycle Accident

SAN YSIDRO — A 17-year-old high school boy died of massive injuries early Saturday, about two and a half hours after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck, police said.
The boy, Lawrence David Cuen, who attended Palomar High, died at the UCSD Medical Center at 12:38 a.m., according to the San Diego County coroner’s office. He lived with his family on Monument Road in San Ysidro.
The accident occurred about 10 p.m. Friday at Beyer Boulevard and Palm Avenue. The driver of the pickup was not injured.
