Child’s Play Through personal experience, architect Gary Gilbar AIA and partner Marcia Herman, above, found a void in the range of furniture for children. Missing was a line of designs that appealed to parents and offspring. Gilbar first designed a few things and tested them out on his own children and friends with great success; he then decided to market them.
