Wilmington : Cleanup Workers Sought
Residents and businessmen are being asked to collect rubbish in Wilmington’s spring cleanup campaign Saturday.
Disposal sites, open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., include Banning High School’s parking lot at Avalon Boulevard and Q Street, a city parking lot at 912 Marine Ave. and a city yard adjacent to Councilwoman Joan Milke Flores’ field office at 435 Neptune Ave.
Sponsors of the cleanup--the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce, the Wilmington Teen Center and Flores’ office--asked volunteers to call 548-7586 for additional information.
