Nissan Redoing Carson Plant

The Nissan Motor Corp. U. S. A. is undergoing a $1.2-million renovation of its national headquarters at the intersection of the San Diego and Harbor freeways in Carson. The design is by Archiplan, a Los Angeles-based urban planner and architect.
The 90,000-square-foot project encompasses all the building’s nine floors and includes reconstruction of the front entry with an indoor-outdoor garden with mature trees.
