One suspected member of a South Los Angeles street gang was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and three others were questioned in the wounding of a high school cafeteria worker who was shot in the leg as she was jogging on the school track. Robbie Houston told police that she was running alone on the Manual Arts High School track when a teen-age youth got out of a car, shot her with a handgun and fled on foot. School district police arrested him nearby, and three other youths were taken into custody a few blocks away by police who recognized their automobile from a broadcast description. The suspected gunman’s name was withheld because he is a juvenile.
