2 Die on Motorcycle
Two people died Tuesday when their motorcycle struck an Orange Freeway overpass embankment, police said.
James C. Webb, 22, of Garden Grove and Pamela Hardin, 21, of Brea were riding north on Placentia Avenue when Webb lost control of the motorcycle as it went under the freeway, Police Sgt. Jay Fricke said.
The motorcycle first hit the raised center divider and then flipped over, coming to rest on an embankment, Fricke said. A police officer discovered the bodies about 1:30 a.m.
