A Canoga Park man was killed when his motorcycle struck a car making a left turn in front of him and then slid into a parked car, police said Thursday.
Witnesses said the victim, Eric Richard Peterson, 28, appeared to have been speeding north on Fallbrook Avenue at Leonora Drive in Woodland Hills when the accident occurred about 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, authorities said. He was not wearing a helmet, Officer Joe Albright said. The driver of the car, Camille Roban, 45, of Canoga Park, was uninjured, Albright said. The driver was not cited.
