A woman driving a car in which an 11-year-old girl was killed and several others were injured was booked for investigation of manslaughter, Los Angeles police said. The woman was identified by police as Angela Bonseigneur, 29, of Los Angeles. Pedro Cervantes, 28, of Los Angeles, the driver of the car Bonseigneur allegedly broadsided as she ran a red light in the 2500 block of West Slauson Avenue, was arrested for drunk driving, officers added. Although the dead girl had a different last name, which police did not release, authorities believe she was Bonseigneur’s daughter. Also hurt in the same car were two boys, ages 2 and 3, who suffered major injuries; a critically injured girl about 16 years old, who authorities have been unable to identify, and two men who were only slightly injured.
