Flores Is Asked to Bid Farewell to Wilson’s Arm

I spit my Wheaties all over the breakfast table the other morning at the shock of reading Mark Heisler’s story (“An Arms Race”) on the front page of my favorite sports section. For cryin’ out loud, how can Tom Flores even consider Marc Wilson to stay on the team, let alone be the No. 1 quarterback? Does Flores owe him some money?

Will somebody please grab Flores by the shoulders, shake vigorously, and tell him that the Raiders cannot “just win, baby” with such blatantly obvious mediocrity.
