Man Killed as Car Rolls Down Hill
An 18-year-old man from Laguna Niguel died Sunday when his car careened off Paseo de Colinas and down a hill, rolling over several times, the California Highway Patrol said.
Donnell J. Guy was driving too fast northbound on Paseo de Colinas about noon Sunday when he lost control of his car just north of the Street of the Golden Lantern, a CHP spokeswoman said. His car crossed the center divider and southbound lanes before going off the road.
Guy, who was thrown from the car, was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics and the county coroner, the spokeswoman said.
