Camarillo Meeting to Protest Rapid Growth
The Assn. of Camarillo Residents will sponsor a public meeting Tuesday to protest what a group spokeswoman calls “the explosive growth that is leading to massive traffic problems, water shortages, the environmental impact on air quality and the loss of agricultural land and open spaces in Ventura County.”
The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Camarillo Library’s Adolfo Room, 3100 Ponderosa Drive.
Discussing the issue will be slow-growth proponents from Simi Valley, Moorpark, Oxnard and Camarillo.
