The Dallas Sidekicks have folded. Owner Donald Carter, facing $5 million in losses over the club’s first two seasons, couldn’t find a suitable buyer for the Major Indoor Soccer League franchise.
Carter, who also owns the Dallas Mavericks of the NBA, requested a $2.5-million line of credit that a group of potential investors couldn’t meet, club officials said.
