Granada Hills Youth Dies in Collision
A 17-year-old Granada Hills youth was killed Wednesday when the car he was driving was struck by another auto in Chatsworth, Los Angeles police said.
Authorities said the teen-ager, David Fraire Aldava, was westbound on Devonshire Street at Owensmouth Avenue at about 6:50 a.m. when an eastbound car hit his car head-on.
The eastbound car went out of control when it was hit by another car, which had pulled out of a driveway onto Devonshire, Officer Bill Mulvihill said.
The drivers of those two cars suffered only minor injuries, he said.
