Shoplifting Suspect Stabs 3
A shoplifting suspect stabbed three security guards at a Sears store in North Hollywood, then fled through an alley next to the store this morning, police said. One security guard was stabbed twice in the stomach and is in serious condition. The others were not seriously hurt.
The suspect, who was allegedly trying to steal videotapes from the store, was stopped by the security guards as soon as he left the building at about 11 a.m., police said. The incident was videotaped by store security cameras.
