State medical officials are investigating whether a retired Oxnard doctor sold his credentials to a Santa Ana man who was arrested for allegedly posing as a physician in Orange County. When Enrique Herrera, 36, was arrested in April, Dr. Alvin J. Stewart expressed surprise that someone was using his credentials. However, since then Herrera has said Stewart sold him the credentials, but officials have been unable to locate Stewart, who has apparently left Oxnard.
