Gardena : Project Planning Approved
The City Council has approved develpment of financing plans for several capital improvement projects.
Cost estimates include $2.3 million for civic center improvements, $3 million each for construction of an undetermined number of parks, $1 million for a new gymnasium at Rowley Park and $250,000 per year to replace city equipment such as police cars, fire engines and street sweepers.
Financing plans will be presented to the council for further action.
