Police Ask Public to Help Find Disabled Woman

Share

Police Friday asked the public for help in finding a mentally disabled woman who left her board-and-care home in Orange on Sunday and has not been seen since.

Deborah Ann Fusco, 31, “should be taking medication daily,” police said Friday.

Fusco, carrying only $5, left the residence on Shattuck Place about 1 p.m. Sunday to purchase a pair of shoes at a Thrifty Drug & Discount Store at the corner of Tustin and Chapman avenues, officers said.

Police added that operators of the care home reported her missing later the same day.

Investigators do not suspect that Fusco has been the victim of foul play but said she could easily be victimized or led into danger.

Fusco is described as white, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 140 pounds, with brown, collar-length hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a white blouse with flowers, white shorts, brown loafers and white socks when she left for the store Sunday, police said.

Anyone with information about the woman’s whereabouts is asked to call Orange Police Sgt. Ed Falkenstein or Detective Vivienne Consoli at (714) 532-0240, or any local law enforcement agency.
