Led by about 350 lesbians riding shiny motorcycles, the 17th annual Lesbian-Gay Freedom Day Parade and Celebration drew nearly 100,000 people under sunny skies in downtown San Francisco. “In Israel, you can’t see this,” said awe struck tourist Moshe Goldstein of Haifa, who watched with amazement as a man wearing black leather chaps exposing his derriere, strutted past carrying a sign that read, “I am Gay and I Love You.” More than 200 entrants marched the length of Market Street amid cheers and jeers to Civic Center Plaza in a celebration of Gay Pride.
