Kissinger’s Article Brings Soccer Greater Credibility

Of course we knew that Henry Kissinger is a soccer fan, but there are, literally, billions of soccer fans.

There are also thousands of soccer reporters and writers, most of them bad, some outright awful, and very, very few good ones.

Kissinger has proved to belong to the even smaller group of the excellent ones. His article had knowledge, depth, insight and clear definition, and it contained a gentle hint at what soccer should do in this country.

It was also easy to read for the many that don’t know or don’t care about the sport.

I am in no position to judge how Kissinger did in Wshington and/or around the world as a public official, but soccer I can judge, and his thoughts and opinions are extremely praiseworthy. I thank you for having given soccer more credibility by publishing his article.
