An International Boxing Federation super middleweight title fight at Seoul, South Korea, between champion Park Chong-pal of South Korea and Lindell Holmes of Detroit was declared no contest after Park suffered a gash over his left eye in the second round.
U.S. referee James Reilly made the decision under IBF regulations providing for such a ruling when a fighter cannot continue because of an accidental injury sustained within the first six rounds.
The bout will be rescheduled.
