A teen-ager skateboarding on a street in Altadena was killed when he collided with a man who had been thrown from his speeding motorcycle, authorities said. Motorcyclist Peter Redmond and his passenger, Jason Williams, were speeding at 70 m.p.h. on the motorcycle when Donelle Moses, 14, crossed their path on a skateboard, the California Highway Patrol said. When Redmond tried to stop at an intersection, he and Williams were thrown. One of them struck Moses, of Altadena, who died at Huntington Memorial Hospital. Redmond, 19, and Williams, 16, both of Altadena, suffered moderate injuries and also were taken to Huntington. No arrests were made, but the CHP said charges may be filed against Redmond.
