San Dimas : Reservoir Pact Awarded
County supervisors have awarded a $2.2-million contract to Clarke Contracting Corp. of Compton to clean debris from San Dimas Reservoir northeast of San Dimas. About 390,000 cubic yards of sediment will be removed to restore the dam’s water storage capacity. During the work, which will continue until January, traffic on Golden Hills and San Dimas Canyon roads will be controlled by flagmen and restricted at times to a single lane.
