The bodies of two gunshot victims were found Wednesday morning at Sarver Lane and Deer Springs Road in Escondido, police said.
The victims were Timothy Michael Ridgewell, 24, and Robert James Pharoah, 26. Both were formerly of La Mesa, police said.
Police went to the scene at 6:09 a.m. Wednesday after a motorist noticed the bodies on the road. Both had received multiple chest wounds from a handgun and one had a cut on the neck, police said.
Nearby residents reported having heard shouts followed by several gunshots that morning. No weapon was recovered and police have no suspects, police said.
