Reagan Picks Economic Adviser

WASHINGTON —
President Reagan announced today that he is nominating Michael Mussa, professor of international business at the University of Chicago, to be a member of his Council of Economic Advisers. Mussa, 44, would succeed William Poole VII on the three-member council.
Reagan also announced his intention to nominate Shirley Dennis, 48, to be director of the Women’s Bureau of the Labor Department. Currently secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Community Affairs in Harrisburg, she would succeed Leonora Cole-Alexander.
