Canoga Park Woman Found Dead in Home
Los Angeles homicide detectives are investigating the death of a 60-year-old Canoga Park woman, whose body was found Tuesday in her apartment by neighbors.
The woman, whose name was being withheld until relatives are notified, lived in the 7300 block of Variel Avenue, Los Angeles Police Lt. William Gaida said.
“She was discovered this morning about 10:30 by neighbors who were concerned because they hadn’t seen her as they normally do in the morning,” Gaida said. Gaida said there was some injury to her body, but said he could not elaborate pending the results of an autopsy scheduled today.
