West Hollywood : 11 Streets, Alleys to Be Repaved

Eleven West Hollywood streets and alleys will be resurfaced in July and August as part of the city’s first major street improvement project.

Parking on the affected streets will be prohibited from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and notice of the parking prohibition will be posted two or three days before work begins. Streets that are being resurfaced will have at least one lane open to passing traffic, city officials said.

The following streets are scheduled for resurfacing: Robertson Boulevard from Melrose Avenue to the city limit; the alley north of Sunset Boulevard from 175 feet west of Clark Street to 165 feet east of Clark Street; the alley east of Doheny Drive from Melrose Avenue to Rangely Avenue and Spaulding Avenue from Fountain Avenue to Santa Monica Boulevard.

Also, north Flores Street from Fountain to Santa Monica, Stanley Avenue from Romaine Street to Willoughby Avenue, Spaulding from Santa Monica to Willoughby, Genesee Avenue from Romaine to Willoughby, Crescent Heights Boulevard from Santa Monica to Romaine, Rosewood Avenue from west Knoll Drive to La Cienega Boulevard, and Westmount Drive from Melrose to Rosewood.
