Brian Tribble, accused of supplying the cocaine that killed University of Maryland basketball star Len Bias, posted bond after spending about 24 hours in county jail in Upper Marlboro, Md., after his indictment on drug charges.
Tribble’s family negotiated an arrangement with six bail bondsmen to put up the $75,000 bond set by Circuit Judge Robert J. Woods. Bond was originally set at $250,000 by a court commissioner Monday, when Tribble turned himself in, but was reduced after a hearing Tuesday morning.
Tribble was indicted last Friday on charges of possessing cocaine and PCP and distribution of cocaine.
