Six Years Later

I clipped an article by Bill Peeples on Jan. 13, 1980, that seemed to offer an exciting and unusual vacation. After six years of waiting, I want to share my highest recommendations of the trip by covered wagon through the Teton National Park with the Bar-T-Five Outfitters, P.O. Box 2140, Jackson, Wyo. 83001.

This four-day, three-night trip can easily be included in a trip to Yellowstone and is a unique way to experience the beauty of the wilderness and the American heritage.

On my trip were people who enjoyed meeting new friends; young families and old, Easterners and Westerners, Northerners and Southerners seemed to enjoy themselves thoroughly and really get involved in the work.

Parents found that their children had plenty to keep them busy with exciting experiences, and all the adults found enjoyment from the children’s wonder at a world without TV and Burger King.

At $380 per adult and $325 per child, the trip doesn’t strain the pocketbook since all meals are included. Plus, the kids don’t have anywhere to spend money (another new experience for them).

Thanks to Bill Peeples for the article that led me to this trip.
