An Orange County man was sentenced to 18 years in federal prison for pocketing most of $3 million borrowed from banks allegedly to build limousines for visitors to the 1984 Summer Olympics. Victor Bagha, 43, also known as Michael Victor Louciano, was convicted of conspiracy and bank fraud. Although Bagha’s Santa Ana firm did build some limousines, he kept most of the money. Government prosecutors said it is the harshest sentence in Los Angeles for a white-collar crime in the past decade. U.S. District Judge Alicemarie Stotler said Bagha “has richly earned a long-term commitment to a federal prison.”
