FORMER EAGLES TO REUNITE FOR ‘TOXICS’ BENEFIT

Former Eagles Don Henley and Glenn Frey will be part of the same concert lineup for the first time since the Eagles’ final show in 1980 when they perform Aug. 28 at the Long Beach Arena in the “Get Tough on Toxics” benefit concert.

Henley and Frey are scheduled to play separate solo sets and are considering performing together. Former Fleetwood Mac members Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks are expected to team on some songs at the concert, which also will feature Neil Young, Jimmy Buffett, Joni Mitchell. Other acts will be announced.

The concert is designed to raise funds for Citizens for a Livable Los Angeles and other organizations that support legislation and candidates favoring strict environmental protection.
