A court ruled against Disney on naming a TV show.

A preliminary injunction issued by a Los Angeles judge prohibits Walt Disney Co. and a subsidiary from titling a new business show “Business Day.” Cable News Network owns the trademark rights to “Business Day,” the name of CNN’s daily business program, the judge ruled. Disney and Buena Vista Television had sued CNN in May, contending that they owned the rights to the program’s name because an Illinois station aired a prototype of the Disney show last April, several days before the CNN show debuted.
