Jordan’s King Hussein and Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak ended their talks in Alexandria without commenting on Mideast peace prospects as outlined by Vice President George Bush. In a communique, Hussein and Mubarak reiterated their support for an international conference on regional peace in which both superpowers would take part. There was no mention of the “points of commonality” listed by Bush after he held separate talks with Mubarak, Hussein and Israeli leaders.
