VALLEY CENTER — A 77-year-old man was fatally injured Saturday when the car he was driving collided with another at a North County intersection.
Spasoje Miladinovich of Valley Center was pronounced dead at the scene by Life Flight paramedics, Deputy County Coroner Gerald Hillbrand said.
A California Highway Patrol spokeswoman said Miladinovich was westbound on Ava Lane about 10:45 a.m. and failed to stop before entering the intersection at Cole Grade Road.
His car collided with one driven by Lorraine Schmidt of Pauma Valley. Schmidt was uninjured, the CHP spokeswoman said.
