Postage Due Notice Altered

WASHINGTON —
Postage-due stamps are being discontinued, the Postal Service said Monday.
In use since 1879 when a mailer had not prepaid the full amount of postage, the red stamps with black numbers will be replaced by postage meter labels and regular postage stamps.
