Cheryl Miller, former USC star, scored 22 points to lead the undefeated United States to a 99-74 victory over China in their final Group B game of the women’s World Basketball Championships at Moscow.
Czechoslovakia earned a semifinal berth with a 78-61 victory over Hungary, while the Soviet Union completed Group A play unbeaten with a 90-41 win over South Korea.
Friday’s semifinals will pit the United States against Canada and the Soviets against Czechoslovakia.
