Joe Mangan, 75, of Pasadena, former Cornell runner who won the Millrose Games mile in 1937, died of cancer. Mangan was the distance coach for the U.S. Olympic team in 1960 and twice coached the Southern California Striders to National AAU titles. Funeral services are private.
