Woman, 94, Is Traffic Fatality: A 94-year-old woman was fatally injured Wednesday when struck by a van as she walked across a busy street, authorities said. Guadalupe Osorio of San Juan Capistrano died at Mission Community Hospital in Mission Viejo at 10:34 a.m., an hour after she was hit on Camino Capistrano near Acjachema Street, according to officers. The driver of the van was not cited, and the investigation is continuing, officers said.

Due to an error by the county coroner’s office, the sex of a pedestrian fatally injured Wednesday in San Juan Capistrano was incorrectly reported in Thursday’s edition of The Times. The male victim, Guadalupe Osorio, was struck by a van as he crossed Camino Capistrano Wednesday morning. He died a short time later at Mission Community Hospital in Mission Viejo.
