Newhall Man Arrested in Fatal Shooting of Lover
A 41-year-old Newhall man has been arrested on suspicion of shooting his live-in girlfriend to death after a quarrel, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported Friday.
Richard O’Bryant was being held without bail at the Santa Clarita Valley sheriff’s station in connection with the death of Deborah Sue Jones, 34, a self-employed tax consultant, Deputy Steve Fosselman said.
Jones was found dead Thursday night inside the home she shared with O’Bryant in the 23500 block of Adamsboro Drive.
O’Bryant was arrested without incident at the house.
