Here’s Hoping Criticism Won’t Affect Sax

The one player on the Dodger roster that could honestly say “I gave 110% every game this season,” the one who has been more consistent than any other Dodger, who has a born-again self confidence based on solid accomplishments is the one player that Gordon Edes singles out as being responsible for dooming the club due to one questionable mental error.

Granted the game was critical and a probable turning point, but Edes resorted to the lowest of journalistic standards with his “mind games” cheap shot. Steve Sax is one fine ballplayer and Edes’ mudslinging will have no impact on Dodger fans’ respect for Sax. Let’s hope it has no impact on Steve.
