AND NOW HERE’S THE NEWS: It’s obvious that no man can turn down an offer from Tina Turner, at least when it comes to writing a new tune for her album. The soul songstress’ new record, “Break Every Rule,” is due next week, with new tunes from Bryan Adams, Mark Knopfler and David Bowie, who’s written a song called “Girls.” . . . Wait till the anti-rock crusaders hear the new album by rock bizarros Barnes & Barnes (who had a cult hit several years back with “Fish Heads”). The duo’s new album, scheduled for release next week on Rhino Records, is titled “Sicks: A Collection of Tasteless Tunes.” The whole affair sounds like it will provoke howls of outrage from Wally George and other anti-rock moralists, who probably won’t grasp the songs’ tongue-in-cheek appeal. The record includes such depraved material as “Pizza Face” (which will be released as a video), “Sit On My Lap and Call Me Daddy,” “Worse Than Slime” and “Homophobic Dream No. 22.” A spokesman for Rhino said the record will come with an equally satirical warning sticker, which reads: “Warning! The Sickest Songs Ever Collected On One Record.” . . . And baseball fans should be on the lookout for a series of “Bats Not Bombs” benefit concerts, beginning today at Central Services Amusement Park, 6250 Hollywood Blvd. The shows are fund-raisers for the Nicaraguan National Baseball Team, which is due to play a series of exhibition games here in October. Tonight’s concert, which begins at 8 p.m., will feature Firehose (with ex-Minutemen Mick Watt and George Hurley), with Act of Faith and the Romans due in coming weeks. Admission is $5.
