Despite a series of weekend roadblocks and at least 20 telephone calls, Corona police said they have little new information to lead them to the man who killed an off-duty police officer in a freeway incident. Police Chief John Cleghorn pleaded for information from passers-by who may have witnessed the Friday night shooting of Patricia Dwyer, 45, on the Riverside Freeway or who recognize descriptions of the blonde, mustachioed gunman and his late-model, full-size white or beige car. The man, about 40, apparently was angered by the driving of Dwyer’s husband and trailed the family’s van for several minutes before firing a blast from a 12-gauge shotgun, killing Dwyer and seriously wounding another passenger, Wendy Varga, 21.
