Local News in Brief : Forget Resignation, Simi Official Asks
Robert Hunt, the Simi Valley deputy city manager who last week resigned to take a job as city manager in Lake Havasu, Ariz., has changed his mind.
Hunt requested that his letter of resignation be withdrawn after he could not reach agreement with the Lake Havasu City Council on a salary and fringe benefits.
Simi Valley City Manager Lin Koester said that he agreed to Hunt’s request and that Hunt will continue as the deputy in charge of economic development.
