Suspect Sought in N. Hollywood Killing
Los Angeles police on Monday were investigating the slaying of a 29-year-old North Hollywood man who managed to stagger to an apartment and ask for help after being shot.
The victim, whose name was withheld pending notification of relatives, collapsed about 8:30 p.m. Saturday outside an apartment building in the 5900 block of Vineland Avenue, Sgt. Will Doiron said.
An apartment resident called paramedics, who took the man to St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, where he died about 10:45 p.m., Doiron said.
