Walking Tours for Peking Travelers

Itineraries for three self-guided walking tours starting at the Beijing Hotel are available free to travelers heading for Peking.
Ranging from 1 1/2 to 2 miles in length, the walks cover the Liulichang District, an area noted for arts and antiques since the 18th Century; the Xidan area, a commercial center west of the Forbidden City, and Wangfujing Street, a popular shopping area.
The walks were prepared by China express, a San Francisco based travel wholesale firm, and are available through travel agents or the firm at 278 Post St., Suite 408, San Francisco 94108, phone (800) 547-9200.
