USC basketball forward Derrick Dowell, suspended late in the last basketball season by former Coach Stan Morrison, has successfully completed 12 units of summer school classes and will be eligible for his senior season, the university announced.
A three-year starter, Dowell is 20th on USC’s career scoring list with 898 points and 14th in rebounding with 560. He is one of two returning starters available to new Coach George Raveling for the 1986-87 season.
