Gorbachev’s Vacation
MOSCOW — Soviet leader Mikhail S. Gorbachev, on vacation for almost a month, arrived Wednesday in Krasnodar near the Black Sea coast, the official news agency Tass said. Gorbachev went on vacation Aug. 19, but no details of his destination were given. Krasnodar lies just west of the Kremlin leader’s home area of Stavropol.
